You can't get through life without leaving a trail. As much as you want and try to hide, you'll be found. You won't be perfect, and at some point you'll have to turn back, and then what happens if the bridges are all burnt down? You're stuck on the island you've created, in the life that you've chosen, and without the friends you didn't want.
